Epsom and Ewell Town Twinning Association takes great care of your personal data. Our membership secretary handles all aspects of this as a data processor and controller.

You should notify the membership secretary of any changes, additions or deletions to your information or if you wish to be removed from the database. On request the membership secretary will inform you of what data is held.
We hold your data for the legitimate interest of conducting our core activities (running the Twinning Association) which include collecting subscriptions, notification of meetings, updating you on forthcoming events and sending newsletters. We hold any personal data which you have given us securely, whether electronically held or held on paper, stored on locked premises with restricted access. The computer has firewall and anti-virus protection and the data is encrypted. Some data is held on “Mailchimp” to allow our bulk mailings. We will not share your information with other organisations without your explicit consent.
Your data, on our mailing list will be retained for the duration of your membership, or for two years from when we last hear from you. We retain our membership records offline, in secured premises in a historical archive.
